Inspirational Peace Jewelry Spiritual Gifts of Love

Dream Peace Purple Amethyst Gold Necklace
from World Peace Jewelry
What we know as a traditional symbol for peace was originally designed for the British nuclear disarmament movement. Designed in 1958 by Gerald Holtom, a professional designer and artist, the symbol was later adopted by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. By the late 1960's the peace sign had become an international peace symbol adopted by war protestors. Then adopted by the counterculture, it became part of the popular culture. The symbol itself is a combination of the semaphoric signals for the letters "N" and "D," standing for Nuclear Disarmament. Superimposing these two signs forms the shape of the peace symbol.

World Peace Jewelry creates one of a kind, handmade spiritual necklaces, bracelets and earrings in the theme of peace: traditional peace signs, Chinese peace symbols, peace charms; some vintage, some contemporary. Often combined with other peaceful symbols or totems and metaphysically sympathetic gemstones with silver, gold, brass and copper. Learn more about gemstones and totem symbols in our guides.

At World Peace Jewelry you'll find unique inspirational jewelry gifts for men and women in themes of peace, love, spiritual belief, religious faith, fertility and healing copper.
